The Cast
Richard Hinojosa
Richard Hinojosa grew up in the heart of Texas. There he began writing absurd, agit-prop sketch comedy and plays with his performance troupe Kairos! Co. He now lives in Brooklyn and for the past 10 years he has been writing and producing sketch comedy and short dark comic plays including Panichorea and Copyright Evil. He most recently moved into puppetry producing the late-night series The Outer Puppets.Sheila Garson
Sheila Garson graduated from Brandeis University with a MFA in Drama. She moved to New York City in 1997 and started Blunt Theater Company with her husband Kenneth Garson in 1998. She has produced, directed and/or acted in over 20 shows, including her original adaptation Electra Votes for the New York International Fringe Festival, and is currently working on a politically charged re-interpretation of Taming of the Shrew.
Jason Griffith
Jason is an East Tennessee transplant, where he performed and directed with such Knoxville-based companies as A.C.T., the Clarance Brown Theatre, the Bijou Theatre, the Actors' Co-op, and others. Formerly an English and Theatre teacher, he spent much of his time in NYC as an operations manager for various exhibits, and is currently the Midtown Education Coordinator for the New York Botanical Garden. He is thrilled to be working with such a talented and diverse collective for another piece, and is ecstatic to have found a project that allows, nay requires, him to indulge his love of theatre, alcohol, and dumpster diving all one sordid enterprise.
Jesse Presler
Jesse Presler lives in Brooklyn. He has most recently worked on Drones with New York Stage and Film's Powerhouse Theatre, directed by Lisa Peterson. Jesse is proud to have worked with Noor Theatre. New York shows include; This is a Cowboy Poem My Daddy Taught Me and As I Am Fully Known. Regional Credits include; Noises Off, The Matchmaker, A Streetcar Named Desire, West Side Story. Film Work includes Happythankyoumoreplease, White Rice and Underpaid Narrator.Rebecca Nerz
New York credits include Twelfth Night (Looking Glass Theatre), As I Am Fully Known (NY Fringe 2010) and Romeo and Juliet (Zephyr Rep) Regional: Ghosts, Mrs. Warren's Profession, Tobacco Road (Triad Stage), Vampire Lesbians of Sodom and Carolina Jack (Theatre 232). Educational credits include: The Rimer's of Eldritch, Private Lives, and The Revenger's Tragedy. Rebecca received her BFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Jonathan Harford
Jonathan Harford enjoys being a puppet, but appears most often in glowing rectangles. ("TV? Film?" "YouTube.") He enjoys creepy hugs, dressing up like his dog, and staying in with his wonderful woman.Lindsay MacNaughton
Lindsay MacNaughton is delighted to back performing with SLP where she appeared with these crazy people wielding unwieldy puppets in Outer Puppets I & II. A graduate of Syracuse University (BFA Drama), Lindsay works as an actor and teaching artist all over NYC. After spending her days doing theatre with kids, she loves nothing more than being able to collaborate with these truly wonderful folks in creating some pretty great, odd, fantastic, grown-up stuff to watch- Like this show!! Special thanks to my favorite playwright, and a regal beagle named Cash.
